Great BBQ! We each had a half sandwich with fried pickles, onion rings, beans and corn. One of the best brisket sandwiches ever. Although you order at the counter the service was top notch! Place your order - then move out to the heated patio and the amazing servers take complete care of you!

This place is legit. And we know legit bbq. Vincent and his family have a great thing going here and it's become one of our favorites in SD. Really delicious, consistently well cooked, nice portions at a fair price, with friendly and great vibe. We usually get the brisket, pulled pork fries, mac n cheese, bbq chicken and pork ribs and take most of it home to cook with the next night or two with some salad and rice to go with their meats. Can't go wrong, highly recommended :)

Amazing BBQ! Probably the most tender BBQ I've ever had. No sauce needed because it had so much flavor and was very juicy. Server was friendly and attentive. First meal in San Diego this trip-will definitely go back next time!

We have been to this place a few times in SD. I ordered the Tri-tip and pulled pork (just meat only). The owner is very friendly and funny. The restaurant is cleaned and organized. Overall, it's always a decent experience.

Fantastic service and food! Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** Super friendly and accommodating staff. There are a good number of aspects of the dining experience that are self serve even though it's a sit down restaurant, but all the interactions we had with the staff were super lovely. All our food came out quickly and at the same time too! **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** The patio is cute, themed like the rest of the restaurant, and can accommodate large groups. We had about 10 people and fit at a large table just fine. **Price & portion, 5/5** Prices are reasonable, especially because the food is so good! Everything is great for sharing family-style too so you can try more items and build your own plate. **Taste, 4.25/5** - Mac n cheese, 5/5: Comforting, nostalgic, and so satisfying! Also topped with cheese itz which was a fun discovery. - Beef ribs, 5/5: I think this was easily the best item I tried. The beef ribs were so tender, perfectly cooked, and juicy!! So impressed at how well these were executed. - Pork ribs, 3/5: These were a bit drier and paled in comparison, but only because the beef ribs were so stellar. If you prefer leaner or drier cuts of meat, this one is for you.

Co-worker and I stopped by today while working in San Diego. Told the young lady at the counter that it was out first time. Gave us pointers about the menu. She was friendly. Food: I ordered the Bull's Duo (2 half sandwiches: Brisket and Sausage). I also ordered a small side of mac & cheese. The brisket sandwich was good but to me the star of the show was the sausage sandwich. This thing has an amazing flavor. I know what i'll be ordering when i come back! The mac & cheese was also good. The ambiance was chill. We came before the dinner rush so thats was good. Overall, great food! I will definitely return.

It was a Saturday night pushing 8pm and we were craving BBQ. We looked at places within a 10-15 mile radius. Although the review on the food at other places were good, the menu was very rigid in portion selection... meaning you had to buy a pound of meat and that was the only option. We chose this spot because of their various portion selections. We had the ribs, bbq chicken which was a solid delivery for bbq. I was most impressed by the Fried pickles! They were flawlessly crafted into a circle shape which gives fried pickles a better taste over the spear shapes. I was most impressed by this place as customer service. We were greeted warmly and checked on often. (September 2024)

Yummy, fast, great service! When you walk into the saloon, you're greeted with great service. There is an inside seating area or an outdoor area! Huge plus for being dog friendly!! Order before you sit. All food is a la carte ordering so get to customize as you please! Everything we ordered was delicious and not dry! Make sure you try all 3 sauces. We will be back!
